Frequently Asked Questions

What’s different about this program?

This program is different because it is custom-made for YOU! Everyone’s needs are different. Everyone’s body is different. What works for one person isn’t necessarily going to work for you. Each week builds on the previous week’s session. The rate of intensity you wish to experience is 100% dependent on you. Some clients want to start out slow for the first few weeks and build intensity. Others are extremely motivated and are ready for major change. Whatever option you choose is fine, because by the end of the program, you will feel and look different. The changes you implement can be carried out for the rest of your life.

What types of topics will be covered?

  • You will learn about and experiment with different grains, protein, fruits, and vegetables.
  • We will also examine your lifestyle and exercise regimen, and set goals for bumping up your activity level.
  • You will learn what foods to eat to give you more energy.
  • You will learn new stress-relieving techniques.
  • You will uncover triggers that cause overeating and learn ways to overcome them.
  • Get to the root of your cravings and learn how to banish them for good.
  • Learn ways to improve digestion.
  • Learn how to balance your blood sugar (and beat the 3pm “witching hour” a.k.a. snack attack!)
  • Learn why processed foods are bad for you and how, by eating them, you sabotage your weight-loss efforts.

Do I have to count calories?

Only if you want to. I personally do not believe in calorie-counting. It’s too much work for me. My philosophy is to add new and healthy foods into the diet. Eventually bad choices will fall away. That said, some clients wish to track everything they consume and I can provide you with information for a free program for tracking calories on the internet.

Why are sessions telephone-based?

Life is hectic. People spend so much time shuffling from one appointment to another. The benefits of telephone-based sessions are:

  • Have your session sitting on your couch in your pajamas, or while sunning at the park.
  • Close the door to your office for a lunch-time session without worrying about traffic or subway delays.
  • If you have to take a trip you don’t have to worry about missing a session. In fact, it’s best not to miss a session to keep momentum going.
  • Often times it’s easier to open up while you are relaxing in the comfort of your own home.

How do I know if this program is right for me?
